The box is actually pretty cute. It's not Sugarpill cute but since the prices of Medusa's Makeup products are more NYX cosmetics prices than Sugarpill for a small "drugstore" brand it's really nice. It could've been very easy and cheap to do a plain brown box.
This was their April Beauty Box. They provide their own beauty box containing four to five full-size items each month. Purchase for $15.95 [HERE]. The items are based on a theme but NOT based on a beauty profile. Meaning, it's the same selected products each month for everyone receiving the box. So, you may get a product that won't suit your skin type/color. It's a possibility. Should you want, you can just purchase the items individually online, instead of the box. I just felt that the box would be a great way to introduce myself to the brand. Not being able to decide what I wanted to purchase, for months, I was just like, "Screw it! I'll just get the box since I can't decide!" LOL!
This packaging is legitimately adorable. Often times more affordable brands tend to go for more basic packaging because it's cheaper. For example, E.L.F. cosmetics. There's nothing wrong with that, of course. Especially if it means that they can put that money to the quality of their products. I don't personally have an issue with brands that prefer streamline packaging rather than ornate, but I'm certainly not against when brands go all out for aesthetics.
I feel like this is a fantastic first start. I'm very excited to try them!
This brush is really sturdy feeling. The bristles are very soft. It feels like a luxury brush but it's only $8! I have no idea how it blends just yet but I'm stoked to find out. Purchase for $8 [HERE]
I honestly contemplated keeping this lipstick box because look at that design! Killer! I didn't end up keeping it though, because I really don't need to hold on to empty boxes. LOL!
This lipstick is so creamy and buttery! The color is a little off for me to wear regularly but I have a themed makeup idea that it would be amazing for! However, while trying it out, I now want to buy some more of their lipsticks because it's so rich and creamy! Purchase for $12 [HERE]

The pan size looks about the same as Sugarpill pans, which is 36 millimeters (mm). Whereas the Colourpop pan size is 26 millimeters. So, it's a pretty big pan!
I can not express just how delicious this tastes! LOL! It's probably a very bad idea to have it. It seems to work but I'll be honest, I just end up licking my lips. It's a decent size container. It says it's 2 grams, so not nearly enough to bathe in but I'll be damned if my lips won't swim in it! Purchase for $10 [HERE]
